Lorraine is the talented granddaughter of Nellie James who was well known along with her sister for their many gifts and the help they offered the community.
When you see people others do not see, and hear people others do not hear you begin to doubt your own sanity. From the early age of three, Lorraine was asking her Nan who the people were. No-one else could see these people and if it wasn't for her Nan's love and protection Lorraine doubts she would ever have got any older than thirteen. Lorraine's parents were fantastic parents but they never knew about Lorraine's gifts because she feared to tell them.
Lorraine lost her Nan and best friend when she was thirty-four and her life changed so much from that day on she had to become who she is now or lose all sense of reality, all sense of who she is. Lorraine now realises she is an Indigo adult (please read more here) and as such has always felt alone in a house full of people, still feels like no one understands her. It is often thought that only Indigo's can understand Indigo's and she has struggled to find that connection.
As most of you know, Lorraine wrote her first book titled "Breathing Rainbows" in 2006. It started as an explanation of who she was to her parents. She laughs and says she just loves to gab. Six weeks later she had written the book. Her then partner, Keith was a little shocked about the fact she had been sat pouring her heart out and telling them everything. Today she is a practicing medium. She helps people every single day and this she feels is her very reason for being.
 Her book is now published and she has half written the next book
"Stopping To Breathe" and is collating "And you wish you were gifted?" In this book she wishes to thank every single person that came to her for a reading in the early days, the days when she still doubted herself to an extent.
She had never spoken in public until she started running events and then found herself on stage. It was a bit of a shock but if she tells the truth she loves every minute of it. She probably works 350 days a year and drives hundreds of miles to read for people, day in and day out. She loves her job (how many of you can say that?).
She has been there and really has done that.
